Mazda continued its impressive streak in June with an increase of 3.8% in sales compared to the same month last year. With 6,816 vehicles sold last month, Mazda now has year-to-date sales of 34,575, an increase of 53.1% compared to the first half of 2020.
That's not all, Mazda also has recorded impressive gains last quarter with sales increasing by 72.2% compared to the same period in 2020. Multiple models can be credited for this impressive sales streak, and every single Mazda vehicle increased sales versus last year. Models like the Mazda CX-30, the Mazda CX-9, and the Mazda6 actually doubled their sales from last year in the second quarter. The Mazda CX-30 has also registered year-to-date sales of 5,995, an increase of 82.7% compared to the first six months of 2020. The Mazda CX-5 has remained Mazda's most popular vehicle with 14,127 sales registered so far, an increase of over 50%.
The Mazda CX-9, with sales of 2,840 so far this year, has more than doubled its sales numbers from the first six months of 2020.
